John, so sorry to hear about your mother. What a wonderful friend she was for many, many years. She was such a happy, positive person, always with a smile. I don't believe I've ever known anyone who was so positive in illness and in her last days. I talked to her frequently on the phone and only twice did she ever mention that things were NOT good. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and Marilyn will forever be in my heart.
I'm sorry I missed you in Decatur but I was out of the country at the time. Would love to hear from you if you would like to e-mail me.

Dear John & Starla,
What a great picture of Marilyn. She was truly a great lady and I'll miss her. I am very sorry that I cannot attend the services today. I will however be calling you to make arrangements to come to Little Rock on July 30th and hopefully get to see you both on the 31st.
Sincerely,
Carol Young-Hiatt
Dear Family, I've had the privilege of knowing Marilyn for the last two years. I did her hair and we became fast friends. She was such a sweetie...I don't know what the "something" was, but she and I just had a special connection. I visited her in her home, in the hospice center, and by phone most recently. I am so glad to have known her. Even with all her health problems...she just kept going...she reminded me of my mother in that respect. Anyway, I will sure miss her as I know you will. My sympathies and prayers go out to you at this time. May God bless and comfort you. Sincerely, Karla Burnett
John,
Sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I had an opportunity to meet her some years ago when I was doing some handyman projects for your Grandma Nora. Both nice ladies.
